Most Kenyan SMEs are running on a patchwork of spreadsheets, WhatsApp threads, and tools that weren't built for this market. Generic SaaS doesn't fit. Custom development is often too expensive and slow. And the combination of software, data intelligence, and SEO under one roof simply hasn't existed here.
SynnTech Labs was founded to change that. We build complete systems — not just apps — that help Kenyan businesses hire better, manage operations more cleanly, automate what's manual, and grow their digital presence. Everything connected. Everything intentional.
Mark and Mugambi bring complementary skill sets that cover the full stack of what a modern business needs — from engineering to data intelligence.
These aren't values we put on a wall. They're the decisions we make every day about what to build, how to build it, and who to build it for.
We don't build features in isolation. Every product, automation, and piece of content is designed to fit into a larger operational system — one that compounds over time.
We're not adapting Western SaaS playbooks for Kenya. We start with Kenyan businesses, Kenyan infrastructure, and Kenyan buyer behaviour — then build from there.
We measure success by what changes in your business, not by lines of code written or pages ranked. If it doesn't move something real, we don't ship it.
No black boxes. You'll always know what we're building, why, and what it's doing. Clear scope, honest timelines, and direct communication — always.
Software, SEO, automations, and SaaS under one roof isn't a marketing line — it's a deliberate design. Your tools talk to each other because they're built by the same team.
We don't do drive-by development. We stay involved, iterate based on real usage, and grow the systems we build alongside your business.
Mark and Mugambi identified a clear gap: Kenyan SMEs were underserved by both generic international SaaS tools and local developers who couldn't offer end-to-end systems thinking. SynnTech Labs was founded to close that gap — starting in Kitengela.
AjiraHQ — our recruitment ATS — was the first internal product to go to market, followed by early builds of PitchPulse. Both grew directly out of client problems we'd seen firsthand in the Kenyan business landscape.
AI automation workflows, SEO, and custom development became formalised service lines as client demand grew. Averdex, CF Park, and Dentmind became our first reference clients.
Operating across Kitengela, Nairobi, and Machakos with a growing list of clients. We're now focused on deepening each product, expanding automation capabilities, and building the team to match our ambition.
We're headquartered in Kitengela, Kajiado County — close to Nairobi but grounded in the reality of businesses that operate outside the capital. We serve clients in Nairobi and Machakos directly, and support teams remotely across Kenya.
Being based here isn't incidental. It means we understand internet reliability, M-Pesa integrations, local hiring dynamics, and the pace at which Kenyan businesses actually move. We build for this context — not around it.
